Where do I park?
Street parking is available throughout Queen Street and surrounding streets.
£1 for 1 hour / £2 for 3 hours / Free after 6pm and Sundays
There are also are a number of car parks close to brick & beam, with the closest being NCP Rutland Centre Car Park (Postcode for sat nav: LE1 1TQ).
Is your venue accessible for guests with limited mobility?
The Venue is based on the first floor and The Loft is based on second floor of Brick & Beam. There is no lift or step-free access at this time. Toilets are on the first floor.
We do not currently have wheelchair access.
Do you offer food and drinks packages?
Yes. A range of food and drink options are available and bespoke food and drink packages can be arranged. Contact us for detailed information about our catering options.
Can we use our own suppliers?
Yes you can use your own suppliers for other products and services like decor and DJ’s. All external vendors must have the appropriate insurances and documents.
What time are you open until?
We are licensed to run events until 10.30pm Sun – Thurs and 12.00am on Fridays and Saturdays. In some cases, event times can be extended.
Can I bring my own drinks?
No, all drinks must be bought from the bar.
Can I decorate the The Venue?
You’re welcome to bring in your own decorations. You are welcome to stick things on the wall with blu-tack. We don’t allow confetti/glitter of any kind including confetti balloons. We can also provide the decor for your event.
Are under 18's allowed
Under 18’s are allowed until a maximum of 10:30pm.
Do you have a door policy?
Smart/Casual. No Hats/Hoods. Admission to Brick & Beam is at management’s and security’s discretion. Invite or advance tickets do not guarantee entry.
What are the options for music?
DJ’s are a quintessential element to your event. We have several resident DJ’s who can compliment your event. All of our DJ’s are open format and can play multi-genre’s. They also take requests on the night. If they’ve got it, they’ll play it!
You’re welcome to use your own DJ also. They can plug straight into our sound system.
Although we recommend having a DJ as they can really bring life in to your event, you’re welcome play your own music using your own device through our sound system.
Can we come in earlier to set-up?
We are happy for you to come in prior to set-up and organise your event depending on availability of The Venue. Please ask a member of our team.
Can we do an open bar?
We can cater for full and part open bars. Ask us for more information.
Can you do arrival drinks for our guests?
Prosecco and beer buckets are amongst the most popular arrival drinks. Speak to us about our options
We want the venue for studio or rehearsal space, do you cater for that?
Yes! We are already host to a number of workshop organisations and creative arts companies. The space has been used for film and photography purposes too.
